LEGO A/S, Denmark - Dexion Pallet Flow Racking

With pallet flow racking LEGO A/S has been able to obtain several improvements in their warehouse. The system allows FIFO (First In First Out) handling of the raw material, with the available space exploited to its maximum.

The solution

The pallet flow system is used for storage and handling of octabines each containing 1000 kg of granulate. The system has 3 levels each with 10 lanes. Each lane is 7 pallets long thus providing a total of 210 pallet places. Every picking lane is equipped with both pallet separator and in/out feeder for handling by both forklift truck and stacker.
