Impex – still going strong

Impex is a shelving system that was designed to be ahead of its time – and it still is today. With all components interchangeable with the original system, designed 25 years ago, Impex is still the choice of many for a simple bay of shelving – or for a complex two tier or high rise order picking installation.

Impex shelving is suitable for virtually every kind of item, from small components to heavy cartons. Shelf dividers, garment hanging rails and lockable steel doors are amongst the range of specially designed fittings, which enable you to tailor Impex shelving to your precise requirements. The Impex modular design allows the maximum useful storage volume to be achieved and the bolt-free lock-construction system means that no time is lost in assembly. These features combine to ensure that you’ll never grow out of your Impex. However long you’ve had your Impex installation, it’s still easy to adjust or extend to keep pace with your changing storage requirements.

Standard bays are 2134mm high by 990mm wide with a shelf depth (front to back) of 305, 381, 457, 610, 762, or 914mm. Impex bays can be open backed or closed, with clip-in steel panels, and all shelves can be positioned and adjusted at 38mm intervals.
