Dexion Romania Reaches 300 Employees

Dexion Storage Solutions, the Romanian branch of Constructor Group, headquartered in Rasnov, Brasov, has experienced significant growth in the last few years, prompting the firm to increase employee numbers to cope with demand.

The leader of the Storage Solutions market in Romania, Dexion has recently reached a new milestone, currently employing over 300 in its Romanian headquarters as a direct result of a growing market share, a diversification of products and an increased role throughout Constructor Group.

“In the last few years, we have constantly secured large contracts and grown rapidly, so we had to develop our workforce to ensure we could continue to offer our clients quality products and service. We have also significantly invested in our products over the last few years to ensure we meet market requirements and provide the industry with a new generation of high quality storage equipment.” Said Brian Howson, Dexion Storage Solutions’ General Manager.

The company was established in 2006 as part of the relocation of a factory from the UK. It went through a series of updates until it was acquired in 2010 by the Norwegian Constructor Group. After dealing successfully with the global economic hardships that hit, Dexion Romania is as strong today as it’s ever been, with a varied range of products being manufactured in its state-of-the-art factory.

These range from shelving systems, to cantilever solutions for long goods, semi-automated pallet racking solutions and a wide range of stock and custom accessories which are sold throughout the group.

The facility in Rasnov also houses other major divisions which are integral to the Group’s success, such as the Sales Support Centre, a team of 45 talented engineers that make the designs for all products quoted by the Group’s Sales offices, the Group’s R&D team which designs Dexion’s new products and the Product Testing lab that ensures that these new products are created in accordance with the strictest safety regulations in the field.

Cementing its position as a first class storage solutions provider on the Romanian market and a major business hub for the entire Constructor Group, Dexion Storage Solutions is looking forward to further expansions of its activity over the coming years.
