Automated Long Goods Storage for Industrial Production

Manufacturing environments are under pressure from limited space, manual processes and rising operational costs. Long goods such as bars, tubes and profiles are often stored inefficiently and handled manually, which slows down production and increases risk. The LS Tower introduces a structured, vertical storage approach that improves access, reduces handling effort and supports stable material supply to production.

More space
Free floor area for production and staging
Stable flow
Reduce search and handling time
Higher safety
Controlled access and handling
Lower effort
Fewer manual steps and forklift movements

Measurable improvements in production logistics

The LS Tower is a vertical storage system for long and heavy materials such as bars, tubes and profiles. It is designed for industrial environments where space, safety and reliable supply to production are critical. It enables controlled handling and supports the transition to semi-automated processes.

Long Span Tower USP

The LS Tower delivers high‑density vertical storage for long and heavy materials, combining a robust steel structure with precise, smooth elevator movement for fast and reliable access. Its integrated safety systems ensure secure operation at all times, while the ergonomic operator area simplifies handling with forklifts or cranes. With flexible tower configurations, multiple container types and optional software integration, the LS Tower provides a compact, safe and efficient storage solution that adapts perfectly to demanding industrial workflows.

How the LS Tower works

Automated retrieval and controlled handling of long goods

Video thumbnail

Vertical storage principle

Materials are stored in containers arranged in a vertical tower structure, optimising the use of available height

Lift-based retrieval

An integrated lift moves to the required position, retrieves the container and transports it to the operator area.

Goods-to-person handling

Material is delivered to a fixed access point, reducing movement, search time and manual handling.

Return and storage

After handling, the system automatically returns the container to its storage position.
